Accessible Media & Technology

Assistive technology is any piece of equipment or product used to improve the functional capabilities of people with disabilities. At Student Disability Services (SDS), we can identify technologies that can assist with access to courses and programs.

With help from our campus partners at Cornell Information Technologies and Cornell University Libraries, public computing spaces throughout the Ithaca campus have assistive technologies, including Braille.

SDS provides information and learning opportunities to increase awareness of how assistive technology can be used to mitigate barriers to access in an academic setting.  For information on upcoming events, please see the Cornell Events Calendar.
