Premier Talking Reader (for iPad)
This is a versatile reader for many types of standard document formats including Microsoft WORD, HTML, TXT and PDF. Premier Talking Reader allows you to easily select text and have it read aloud including on-screen tracking of words as they are read.  You can also extract and save selected text to new documents for study and review.  PTR has convenient options for quickly importing / exporting documents (e.g. Dropbox) PLUS other robust document management features that allow you to copy, move, delete, rename and create separate folders making it easy to use and share documents with others on your iPad! Read & Write for Google Docs
Open a Google document and use the tools on the Read&Write for Google Docs toolbar to:

  • Have the document read aloud with dual color highlighting
  • Access Dictionary, Picture Dictionary, Translator, Fact Finder, and Study Skills tools
  • Collect highlights made using the Google Docs highlighters
  • Automatically create a vocabulary list of highlighted words with text definitions and images for each word
